“Hi”
Smells of wine flooded the whole place. Men and women around danced and hugged with excited s/mile on their faces. Under the flashing colorful light, everything seemed to be dim and illusory.
‘What\'s your name’said the person by her side.
‘What’s your name’She glared at the man next in confusion. He is undoubtedly handsome with clear, ocean like blue eyes and dark hair, the place is furthermore lighten up by his perfect s/mile.
Why does that sound so weird Why is she here
‘You don’t necessarily have to be shy. I’m Richard Greyson, nice to meet you.’
‘That…is a …um…interesting name .’She rubbed her eyes and frowned.
‘Why’s it so interesting”
‘Well, you know, Richard is a usual name, I think. One of my classmates is called Richard. Greyson is also a pretty normal surname if you don’t consider its meaning as …son of Grey or things similar. However, the two added together…hard to say …sounds very ‘DC’.’
‘What’s DC’
‘Batman, Superman, Nightwing and stuff. I bet your parents are big fans of Nightwing.”
“Interesting guess. But I thought that superhero didn’t even exist when I was born.”
“Then it’s a coincidence. At least I remember that one of the Nightwing’s called Richard Grayson.”
The s/mile still lies perfectly on his face. However, Greyson’s eyes seemed to darken. An icy chill suddenly crept through her spine. She looked around. Everything seemed bright and colorful, but none of that had covered the scent of crime rot deep inside. She quickly stood up, walked straight away, misted eyes immediately clearing:”Where the hell am I”
“Honey, drunk” A man behind slowly rubbed his hands along her pale shoulder,”Smart you are. It’s a good place to get drunk.”
Panic flew through her eyes:”Where am I”
The man’s dirty lips seemed almost to touch her skin:”You’re very drunk, aren’t you ”
“Where...”
The painful cry of the cankered man dazzled in ears. Along came the noise of fists hitting on flesh.
“Gotham.” She heard a voice,”this is Gotham.”
“Shift！”said she, and then fainted.
Let’s hope for the best that this is a dream.
